Think Fun; Coding Board Game: Robot Repair

This is designed to get children developing the ability to assemble instructions in the correct order to reach the desired outcome - an essential skill in computer coding. The structures in the game resemble different control structures in coding such as repeat ... until and do while loops and if/else if/else branching, creating familiarity with these ideas without explicitly teaching them. CODE is a series of games designed to help kids build the mental skills needed to understand advanced programming concepts. My son is 9, and he is absolutely loving this game. He's finding it challenging, but not too hard, nor too simple. He got a lot of presents for his birthday, but he keeps coming back to this one. He has decided that if he gets stuck on a level, all he has to do is put it away until the next day, look at it with fresh eyes, and he finds he can do it! Highly recommend!!!!

Code: Robot Repair Lo-Res Spill

Robot Repair is the third in a series of games designed to build the mental skills needed to fully grasp the concept of coding. All of the games are screen-free for a unique, unplugged play experience. In each of the 40 Robot Repair challenges you’re given a robot to fix. Within the Robots are wires that need to be activated by Power Cells. Using logical deduction and the clues given, insert the Power Cells correctly and repair the robots.
