This is one of the best coffee makers I've ever used. This is far superior to a conventional automatic coffee maker.I've used every type of coffee maker and found this pour over to deliver a superb result, even better than a French press. With this, you got more control over the making of the coffee, which is a crucial part of creating the best coffee possible. It is not quite as quick and easy as the k-cups but the taste is so much more clean. It is worth the little bit of extra effort. Super easy to clean. Way better than a traditional coffee maker for sure.The sieve is stainless steel with fine openings so no filter needed. I love the fact that my coffee doesn't have that hint of paper filter taste anymore. Hints for the best coffee: Grind beans just before using.Boil water and then let cool for 20-30 seconds. Pour once over grounds wetting them completely. After that filters through, pour remainder slowly over the grounds. Truly does make excellent coffee! The one thing the mug is missing is a spill proof lid Plus the coffee stays hot in the thermal mug for hours!!!
